Armchair Dragoons PAO, 1 July 2026
In past years, we’ve aimed for all of the exhibit hall. We didn’t have the manpower to pull that off this year, but still tried to get a lot of it.
Origins published their exhibit hall info, and we excerpted some key parts of it here during our previews. The biggest change ahead of Origins was the loss of Enterprise Games to a last-minute medical issue that came up. This cost us one of our key wargame retailers in the exhibit hall, but did not cut into our events at all.
Wide Angle Views
We’ve got a couple of broader shots of the exhibit, including several before the hall opened to the public when you had good sight lines down the aisles.

Dice!
There’s always a bunch of dice vendors, and there’s always something a bit off-the-wall. This year it was scented dice and no we’re not kidding. Black Oak Workshop actually had 2 booths, because one of them was an “outpost” for their scavenger hunts.
Highlighted Vendors
Each year in our previews, we spotlight a couple of particular vendors—wargame companies, friends-of-the-Dragoons, etc—to make sure our audience has a good maneuver sketch going into the exhibit hall. Here are some photos of those specific companies that we called out from the overall exHall. As noted above, we don’t have Enterprise Games in here, but we got most of the rest. Note, Black Oak Workshop are in the gallery of dice folks above.
Shirts!
Everyone loves a good convention shirt 🤠

Game Booths!
Lots of games for sale. Not a lot of wargames for sale, but you knew that going in.
Costumes & Accessories & Other Weird Stuff
No, we didn’t venture into Cosplay Deviants for behind-the-scenes looks, you miscreants.
Toys & Artists & Coffee1 & Whatever Else
Yeah, there’s all sorts of off-the-wall stuff in the exhibit hall. For a long time you had booths full of old panzer DVDs & WW2-inspired wall signs of questionable morality and stores selling all manner of second-hand & closeout games. Now? You get steampunk coffee and legos, and a lot of artists and a quilting bee.
