Our Wargame HQ couldn’t operate without some great partners that have joined us over the years. Decision Games, Fort Circle Games, Catastrophe Games, Ares Games, and especially GMT Games have been great supporters of our space over the past few years, including 2026.
GMT Games
GMT Games usually provides their support through Enterprise Games with raffle prizes, as well as a dedicated GMT sales booth in the exhibit hall. Unfortunately, Enterprise Games were forced to back out of the show at the last minute due to a medical issue. This did not impact GMT’s support in the Wargame HQ at all, however, as they’ve grown from one observer to two GMs to four GMs this year, in addition to the games that our GMs lead for their games. Jason Carr brought along Kai Jensen from the home office, plus David and Scott, and we mixed in our own GMs (Stephen, Scott, Marc, Todd, and even hijacking Jason Matthews) and then layered in a few designers like Russ Scott and Perry Silverman.
All told, we staged over 60 GMT events across 7 different tables, and that was just games in print or currently on p500. What did we play? (Deep breath) Combat Commander, Space Empires 4X, Illusions of Glory, Microverse, Dominant Species Marine, Ardennes ’44, Commands & Colors Medieval, Baltic Empires, China’s War, Weimar Republic, Checkpoint Charlie, Coast Watchers, The Guerrilla Generation, Ancient Civilizations of the Middle East, Plum Island Horror, Rebel Fury, Fighting Formations – 29th ID, and Twilight Struggle (w/ the Designer!).

Decision Games
Three years ago, we Decision Games started staging some events in our space, and at this point, they run 2 tables with their own GMs over the weekend, and consistently pull in full tables as they show off the newest games. Considering they just had 7 of them come in about 2 months ago, there were plenty to choose from.

Catastrophe Games
One of the first companies to join up with the Wargame HQ post-COVID, Catastrophe Games have run 2 full tables with us every year since 2022, mixing in new games with playtest & promotion sessions for upcoming games.
Fort Circle Games
Given that they are a bit more broad about “historical games” and not just pure shooty-bangy wargames, Fort Circle consistently bring in players that are altogether new to the Wargame HQ, and more than a few have stuck around for other games with us after seeing them on tables.
For some reason, we didn’t get many photos of Ares Games in action, so they are mixed into the next batch of Wargame HQ photos. A few other publishers, like Flying Pig and Wharf Rat, also joined us for some events, but not with quite the same full program resulting in dedicated tables all weekend. Look for them, plus a bunch of ‘unaffiliated’ games in our next Wargame HQ gallery.
