The latest round of tariff/reaction updates from publishers and manufacturers
- Public statement from We Print Miniatures
- Perry Miniatures homepage notes they’re suspending orders to the US until the proper postal/tariff infrastructure can be put in place and then they’ll reassess
- ICv2 reports on Games Workshop’s expected P&L hit thanks to the tariffs
- Publisher of Pax Penning, Turncoats, and others won’t have games shipping to the US
- GCT Studios are suspending shipments to the US indefinitely
- Victrix Minis have put a pause in place they expect to clear within a week or so, but we’ll see
- Alternative Armies has a statement on a page they’ll continue to update as things change
- And what the heck, let’s just have 6 entire countries (incl Germany & Switzerland) shut down their postal shipments to the US until they figure out implementation of something that was scheduled 2 years out from now and is being pulled ahead . . . why, exactly?
- Australian Post had added themselves to the list of countries not shipping to the US right now while we unfuck our tariff collection processes
- Hell, even the New York Times is reporting on how the tariff shenanigans are impacting the board game industry
- The Zweihander guys have some advice on how TTRPGs might be able to finesse the tariff situation

Why Play ESR Napoleonics? by David Ensteness of The Wargaming Company, inspired by a discussion from our Saturday Night Fights crew
Unlike the typical game, this time when you consider the attack in the center you won’t be assuming the premise of the scenario is correct, you’ll know the greater context because you were part of creating it. Why is the attack in the center important? Because the French right bent instead of broke, and the French left is turning your own flank. Launching a frontal assault against fresh infantry and massed guns in the center is the best hope of compelling the French left to halt its attack that threatens to cave in your right and cut your line of retreat.
