Connections Online, the professional wargaming conference, co-sponsored by The Armchair Dragoons, will be held from 7-12 April 2025. Core events will be held 8-10 April.
This year’s theme is Wargaming Future Technologies
Conference Chair Christopher Weuve says
The theme for Connections Online 2025 is “Wargaming Future Technologies.” This is, as you might imagine, a topic much bigger than a single conference — especially since we also try to include panels about other topics involving the art and science of wargaming. We hope you appreciate what we have been able to pull together, and we hope the conversations started in the conference continue long after the final event concludes. (And remember, everything in Connections Online becomes available for general viewing on YouTube a couple of weeks after the conference, so feel free to rewatch as many time as you like!)
Currently-planned panels & seminars will cover topics such wargaming the far future, AI in wargaming, a panel covering recent wargaming books, and presentations from several international practitioners. More details will be released as the schedule is finalized.
As with all of our events, registration will be handled through Tabletop.events. We are expecting to open registration before the end of February, once the core events are locked down.
Connections Online is an all-online professional conference for wargaming practitioners from the defense/NatSec, intel, NGO, and academic realms, as well as those who support and may be interested in joining them.
