The Giant Civ 6 AAR: Nubia, Part XVIII

Expanded the map, backed off the Canadians, and got some building done . . .

Twerp.

That warrior that got beat up by the locals in Ottawa (probably for wearing a Leafs sweater) is now getting close to my healing scout.

civ6-Nubia
Need vs Want.

We need the granary, with the ongoing dustbowl conditions.

civ6-Nubia
Getting Industrious.

If I build the “industry” on this fur tile, I get the bonuses you see in the bottom of the screen there.

civ6-Nubia
What’s in the Box!?

It’s a very industrious icon, no?

civ6-Nubia
That “era” score again.

First industry on the planet = bumping up that score!

civ6-Nubia
Ouch!

There’s a warrior out there with a taste for “scout”

civ6-Nubia
Ouch2.

There’s another warrior out there who likes setting mine alight.

civ6-Nubia
On a Less Painful Front.

This scout is just hugging the coastline to map the continent and look for Fezian interlopers.

civ6-Nubia
Drought Over.

Let’s move our 4-builds-to-go builder down to Qasr Ibrim to help build out the surrounding tiles.

🎶 Sailing 🎶.

🎶Takes me away to where I’ve always heard it could be /
Just a dream and the wind to carry me 🎶

civ6-Nubia
“Theology”.

What you need to study to figure out why Walcott hasn’t scored in like 2-1/2 years

civ6-Nubia
Change Out Policy.

Our previous god-king policy is now obsolete, so we have to pick something else

civ6-Nubia
Build Faster!

We’re going to get those builders on the map quicker, which will also play well to their added builds and help us ramp up tile improvements

civ6-Nubia
Well Then.

Georgia assigned their diplomat to Kumasi, so even adding some envoys there won’t matter for a bit, so we’re going to redirect them elsewhere

civ6-Nubia
Let’s Reinforce Success.

And send the envoy to Buenos Aires and try to get to that 6-envoy bonus level, even if it won’t help us for a while.

civ6-Nubia
“Keep Your Distance Chewie”.

And frankly, I’m fine if it looks like I’m keeping my distance.

civ6-Nubia
Elsewhere.

We did something to boost our knowledge of construction.

civ6-Nubia
Run!

Time to put some space between me and them dudes.

civ6-Nubia
Hiding Out.

On the other side of a volcano should so it.

civ6-Nubia
Sneakin’ and Peepin’.

We’re going to approach between these mountains to keep the flanks secure, but try to spot those barbarians on the north side of Canada.

Nothing earth-shaking, but some needed developments, so let’s try to get a boat in the water…
