Horses for courses mate, innit.

Knowing that I'm such a shockingly bad combat pilot, I really have just built for speed, jump rang and agility. My current jump range is a shade under 40ly.

So, for longer distances, I use a mix of economical and shortest routes so that I can keep the fuel tanks topped up.

I do keep looking at the engineering aspect, but not sure if I can be arsed. May do something once the Mandalay is available to buy.

Yeah I feel safe enough in my little bubble that I might downgrade the armour and put it toward the python and then will check out some combat

Met the armour in the middle and went with refined - 25% stronger - thatll do

Purchased the python and declared for Li Yong Rui - currently running type 9 missions to pay for a decent unegineered spec and upgrading things from E - A

Used up all the supply of a refineries silver (sorry, not sorry) but have found another supply nearby selling to me at 33k and selling to my home base at 47k x 720 tonnes, bertrandite the other way

once the python is at least vanilla ready with some weapons ill start some courier runs and power play ones

feels a bit like GTA in space, 2 ships in the garage - which makes me smile a lot

Good stuff - you'll need to practise a bit with the python, as its not the most manoeuvrable of beasts.  :bigthumb:

Signed up, did 36 jumps to the ship, contributed 8 data and now qualified for the 18m

Signed up as well and sold my exploration data. Now I want to go find some more and see if I can't get so better rewards.

I'm now up to 19 contributions, so that will be 24 mil + other rewards.

Took the python out for a spin - it’s glorious - like driving a Volvo all week and someone giving you the keys to the Ferrari

It’s nearly at peak component stage - a couple of Bs instead of As and has 3 gimballed multicannons and 2 beam lasers on turrets with 300 storage - it was great to visit outposts again

Have started doing some power play missions and sneaking the occasional courier run

150mil in the bank and trying to resist the pull of the anaconda

Good times

I deffo like the Python I over the PII. I tried the II and can't say that I was impressed.

Is the 2 more designed for combat?
