I don't plan on picking up the new DLC at this time, but very much looking forward to the 4.0 update.  Wondering how long it'll take for all of my mods to catchup

At this point, I honestly don't know when, or even if, I'll grab BioGenesis

Even before today's fiasco, I was beginning to cool on the DLC, and Season 9 in general.  I've realized I'm really only interested in less than half of what BioGenesis has to offer; and while I definitely understand its appeal, I've never personally been enamored with Psionics or the Shroud.  Honestly, the Infernals species pack is about the only Stellaris DLC that I'm looking forward to at this point.

I uninstalled the game from my PC.   I haven't really played it all that much since the Megacorp update and I just can't see getting back into it.

Got my money's worth out of it but the bloat has killed it for me much like all the other Paradox games.

Phew - I didn’t dare say it to Martok but I did the same last week before the download for this hit steam

Amateur levels only but I got 200 hours out of it and that’s definitely worth the money - like SDR too many things were piling on top of each other for me - I’m all for change but as someone who was dipping in and out of stellaris it would be a totally different game everytime I came back to it and I haven’t got the time to dedicate to that

Huh. I fired up 4.0 last night just to see what the changes were. I didn’t notice any slow downs or experience any crashes. As for balance issues I have no idea because I have no idea how the new planet management stuff works. Mainly just poking at stuff and seeing what happens.

Mind you, I only managed to get about 4 hours in with the new build.

Yikes.  Not only is BioGenesis' Steam rating sunk to "Mostly Negative", even recent reviews for Stellaris itself have dropped to "Mixed".  I don't even remember the last time that happened, unless it was when MegaCorp and the 2.2 "Le Guin" update dropped.  That probably says more about the state of the 4.0 release than anything so far; the bugs and other issues players are continuing to run into are just ridiculous.

And now thanks to mods starting to update, I can no longer play version 3.14 either.  :(  Sigh.

Based on prior experience, I imagine it does, yes.  Though "breaking", rather than "affecting", would probably be a more accurate term.  :crazy2:
