No, there are standards, and LnL to my mind are not playing fair. If they are not willing to reimburse SCG for cracking open a copy, then I can understand why SCG are reluctant to do so.
From a consumer point of view, I would maintain that LnL have failed to meet customer expectations, and the onus should be on them to provide a replacement for what is, in effect, a faulty product.
