  • Origins 2025 will be held in Columbus OH from 18-22 June, and the Wargame HQ will be back with over 150 events across all 5 days, and publishers like GMT, Decision, Fort Circle, Catastrophe, Ares, and the Dietz Foundation all supporting us.

So...haven't been on the AD forums for a bit as real life absorbs time.

But--Monday, December 4, 2023--we're putting a new game on our website's "Building Blocks" section for preorder--Ian Brown's card game "#Maneuver Warfare"

It'll be $30--with at least 10% of that going directly to our scholarship fund.  We expect it to be available before the end of 2024 for sure.

I’m grateful to Jim Dietz and the Dietz Foundation for the chance to offer my first (hopefully not last!) entry into to the world of commercial #wargaming. #Maneuver Warfare is a game that takes the mantra of “war is a clash of wills” literally, with the “will” of both sides represented as cards that are used both as currency for game action and achieving victory conditions. Players build their military task force with conventional air, land, and naval units, as well as supporting enablers and space and information capabilities. A semi-randomized terrain set-up creates the battlefield, and then players get into the action of trying to destroy, subvert, and otherwise degrade their opponent’s will until there’s nothing left.
