Be sure to watch Syfy's Twilight Zone New Year's Marathon and I'm sure you will hear it again.  8)

You don't see this every day:

I gotta wonder about the circumstances that brought it about.  (Also, why am I not surprised this is in Florida? :P

Came across this one in Reddit; I have to admit it surprised me...

Over the years, I've seen multiple model railroads sporting some combination of a bridge next to a tunnel like this.  However, I always thought model railroaders built them into their layouts mostly because it looked really cool (which it certainly does!).  I didn't realize there was at least one real-life location that (presumably) served as a basis/inspiration for them (though in hindsight, I probably should have known better).

Talk about a very short train:

I'm presuming this was some sort of rush/special delivery.  That, or the railroad screwed up in some way, and they're rushing the product to the customer to make up for whatever caused the delay.  Even for short freights, railroads obviously don't normally waste fuel moving only a single car -- much less sending two locomotives with, just to make sure the job gets done.  :P
