The 2024 Armchair Dragoons Fall Assembly is almost here, and will be hosted again this year by The Gamer’s Armory in Cary, NC.
It’ll be held 11-13 October 2024.
The important stuff:
- Badges are $25 for the weekend – still available! – and they include:
- Your badge for any / all events you want to play
- Saturday munchies
- A small bit of custom Dragoons swag
- Access to the way-more-popular-than-expected “leave one / take one” exchange table
- We do not have a hotel attached to the facility but you can find local hotels here
- Regimental Patron-level Patreon supporters get a free badge for all Armchair Dragoons-hosted events like this one
- Merch! It’s not much, but some folks like a keepsake from the convention, so these are currently available from our Spring store
- T-shirts in blue, maroon, or light grey; we got our sample from Spring and it’s a solid heavyweight tee (a little thicker than last year’s shirts)
- Pint glass in one color: clear! There’s one at the desk at The Gamer’s Armory that you can check out ahead of the convention
We do have a Thursday night pre-convention social like we did last year, and details will be sent out to badge holders early next week. Not really any game-playing; just hanging out with your fellow attendees.
Designer guests:
- Bruce Maxwell is back, and will be teaching Air & Armor, as well as hosting another game of NATO
- Keith Tracton is back, and will be teaching his new Raider Drop Zone game, as well as playtesting his yet-untitled World at War ’85 air game
- special surprise designer dropping in to say ‘hi’ ? (maybe?)1

FYI, armchairdragoons.com has been on-off the past few days for me. Sometimes the page loads, sometimes not.
we’ve had some trouble with the CPU getting overloaded at our host, but within the next few weeks should be migrating to all new hardware. Might still suck until we get past the Fall Assembly and I have time to deal with it, but will definitely be fixed before the end of the month.
It’s always good to know the problem isn’t on my end. 😉
